VATICAN CITY, October 16, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) A group at the Vaticans Youth Synod has called for the Catholic Church to pay more attention to homosexuals and the realities they face, specifically mentioning marriage, surrogate pregnancy, and adoption.
[...]There is the issue of what to do and how to act with homosexuals, which cannot remain outside of our pastoral activity and other realities such as marriages between homosexuals, wombs for rent, adoption on the part of couples of the same sex, all of which are current issues and favored and sponsored by international governmental institutions, said a group of Spanish-speaking participants in the Vaticans month-long youth summit.
This small group was led by Honduran Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga, a member of Pope Francis C9 council of cardinal advisors. The Cardinal has been implicated in a cover-up of homosexual bullying of seminarians in his native Honduras. The controversial cardinal, whose name is also attached to financial corruption, declared that the worldwide abuse crisis was the fabrication of the supposedly Jewish-controlled media.
Maradiagas group was the only section to discuss homosexuals, surrogacy, and same-sex couples adoption of children. The task of the five-language small conversational circles was to discuss the second half of the Instrumentum Laboris (IL) or working document for the Synod for Young People, Faith, and Vocational Discernment.
It is the universal and perennial teaching of the Roman Catholic Church that marriage can take place only between one woman and one man. The Church does not and cannot recognize legalized sexual partnerships between two men or two women as marriage.
The Church also teaches that the deliberate creation of a child outside of his or her parents marriage is a grave evil. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, "Techniques that entail the dissociation of husband......

However, Pope Francis greatly increased both the authority and influence of Synods.
Francis seems to treat them both as sources of doctrine and as personal instruments of "popularizing" his own agenda, by manipulating who are invited as lay advisors (this used to be theologians, but no more); selecting who are appointed as voting bishop members (at one time there were regional synods who had their geography in common; now typically all they have in common is that they're "friends of Francis") and controlling who writes the "Instrumentum Laboris" ('the Agenda') beforehand, and the summary afterwards.
The last two meet-ups were flagrantly stage-managed from top to bottom. Even some of Francis' buds were shocked to find that the "conclusions" were largely determined beforehand. This is a clear instance of the Delphi Technique (LINK), a recognized set of steps valuable in manipulating ANY meeting toward a predetermined end.
I've seen it in action (not a Synod, but the Delphi Technique in another context.) This is manufacturing a pseudo- "grass-roots movement" ---astro-turfing --- corralling people to think they "own" an already-settled conclusion.
Some might call the conduct of Synods under Francis "Ecclesiastical Peronism".
If anybody wants to jump in and say more, I hope they will.
However, it has been perverted into a method of misleading a group to reach a predetermined conclusion, essentially by lying to the group about what their fellow members actually think.
If you are ever involved in such a process, be very careful to be sure you're getting valid feedback from the rest of he group, and not intentionally distorted feedback. It's the opportunity for the person running the exercise to distort the feedback that makes Delphi dangerous.
