I knew a lady, who recently died at the age of 102. She was a devout, genuinely good Christian woman. She was also a lifelong democrat. There are still democrats out there who are old-school democrats, like my in-laws were. Like my husband was for the first several years of our marriage. They are ill-informed by people they have supposed to have been telling them the truth, as the rest of us did for years, before cable and internet, listening to Uncle Walter, Dan Rather, Frank Reynolds, Harry Reasoner. They’re not listening to the real truth. The evil ones are the democrats who KNOW exactly what their party stands for, and agree with it.

That’s what the jist of the article is. For the partisans who knew nothing different, the current state of the Democrat Party (2000ish-Present) should be a huge red flag and I’d seriously question their so-called Christianity for maintaining fealty with that political party.
IMHO being ill-informed isn’t an excuse anymore.
Sounds like it depends on what your definition of a democrat is is.
