NCC Calls for Withdrawal of Kavanaugh Nomination
The National Council of Churches (NCC) ^ | 03 Oct 2018 | staff/Steven Martin

Posted on 10/03/2018 11:41:25 PM PDT by blueplum

The National Council of Churches (NCC) calls for the withdrawal of the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States. We believe he has disqualified himself from this lifetime appointment and must step aside immediately. We note several reasons for this. During his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Judge Kavanaugh exhibited extreme partisan bias and disrespect towards certain members of the committee and thereby demonstrated that he possesses neither the temperament nor the character essential for a member of the highest court in our nation. In addition, his testimony before the Judiciary Committee included several misstatements and some outright falsehoods, some in relation to accusations of sexual misconduct. All citizens must be expected to speak truthfully when under oath, however, this is especially true for anyone who seeks a seat on the Supreme Court. Moreover, Judge Kavanaugh’s extensive judicial and political record is troubling with regard to issues of voting rights, racial and gender justice, health care, the rights of people with disabilities, and environmental protections. This leads us to believe that he cannot be an impartial justice in cases that are sure to come before him at the Court. Therefore the National Council of Churches calls for the withdrawal of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court immediately.

et tu' Judas?

Perhaps the Council should take a moment to recall that our beloved Jesus was not all peaches and cream when he destroyed the tables of the temple vendors and got in the face of his elders. And perhaps the Council should also take a moment to reflect what happened to that very temple for playing politics with truth and assuming to speak for every congregant. How many offering trays will remain empty this Sunday?

National Council of Churches is an anti-Christian Stalinist front which defends totalitarian regimes like Castro’s Cuba.

Must not be a Christian church council.

2 Cor 3:1
“Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”

Deuteronomy 19:5
A solitary witness against someone in any crime, wrongdoing, or in any sort of misdeed that might be done is not sufficient. The decision must stand by two or three witnesses.

And though there are four or five allegations against Kavenaugh, not a single one passes this test.

No Christian who actually accepts the bible as truth would argue that he needs to withdraw.

“Extereme partisan” sure is the talking point of the week. Everyone got their marching orders and they’re going to spew out what they’ve been told to say.

Let me take that back just a bit, because I saw the full name as “National Council of the Churches of Christ” and saw UCC in there when it was not necessarily so.

The NCC’s history is all left-wing, though; they were against the Vietnam War in a big way, and blathered about “civil rights” incessantly. They are left-wing leaven that has blown up its own lump and is trying to leaven other lumps.

4 Oct: Daily Mail: EXCLUSIVE: ‘Christine Ford threw her under the bus.’ Strained ‘sex assault’ witness Leland Keyser is seen for the first time as close family member confirms she did NOT corroborate school friend Ford’s story to FBI
•Pictured in DailyMailTV exclusive photos for the first time since news Ford named her, Keyser showed the stress of being put into the national spotlight
•The close relative expressed anger at Ford’s suggestion that Keyser could not recall the party because of the ‘significant health challenges’
•The ‘health challenges’ have not impaired her memory but being caught up in the Kavanaugh scandal has proved physically trying
By Laura Collins In Silver Springs, Maryland
Speaking exclusively to DailyMailTV a family member close to Keyser, 52, said: ‘Christine didn’t give her so much as a heads up - as far as I know they haven’t really spoken for several years and they’re certainly not close anymore.
‘Leland was completely blindsided by her name being thrown into it all. The first thing she knew about it was when she woke up on Thursday morning and her name was just everywhere. It was crazy.’...
Keyser’s attorney, Howard J Walsh III, last night confirmed that his client has spoken with the FBI and that when she did so she could not corroborate Ford’s account...

But Keyser’s relative revealed the mother-of-two’s shock at being named as a witness by a woman to whom she has barely spoken in recent years.
And they expressed anger at Ford’s suggestion that Keyser could not recall the party because of the ‘significant health challenges’ she has faced in recent years...
The family member went on to explain that the ‘health challenges’ faced by Keyser have not impaired her memory...

By parroting the words of radical leftists the NCC has revealed itself to be a subsidiary of the DNC.
