by all means then, let’s all do nothing more than pay, pray, and obey, and everything will be hunky-dory...those appointed to tell us what to do will continue to bugger people vulnerable to them, and those appointed to tell them what to do will point to something else and say ‘oh look at that’, but it’ll all be okay because a text compiled nearly 2000 years ago says so...
