Mama, why do these words sound so nasty?
Or a schism which will make the split between Protestant sects (think ELCA and Missouri Synod) look like a friendly backyard brawl by comparison.
It will take a civil war to uproot the lavender mafia ... better to do it now while what few remaining faithful Catholics are wanting to fight to take back the Church.

‘In the meantime, the laity should speak up loud and clear.’
ha ha ha...hahahahaha...
This is the time for Catholics who love Christ truly present in the Eucharist to pray for guidance in determining exactly how each of us is called to follow Him during this time.
We were chosen to live during this time for reasons we may not know yet and, if we ask, each of us will be given the graces we need to follow Him, no matter the difficulty.
Unfailing devotion to the Eucharist and asking our Blessed Mother to pray with us for the Church and for the grace and strength to hear and follow Christ are of utmost importance.
This is the example of St. Francis of Assisi.
Great saints will be called to help defeat this evil. This is the pattern of history and it will happen again. Great saints are in the wings and some of them are probably some of us.
Christ is always with us, truly present on earth with us in the Eucharist until the end of time.
Men will forsake us but He will not.
I stand with Him.
Simply Horrifying! God Help Us All. Satan has seized the throat of the Catholic Church and is strangling it to death.
Alongside that are suffering priests who seem sincere all the way down, who are trying to be faithful to God, and also to take care of people and change the institution. They are the ones who are always forgotten, and read out of the story from both sides.
Sixteen years ago ..... Not long thereafte ... Chicago
This kind of fake news is absurd in 2018. When I went from Wheaton College to Chicago’s inner city dominated by Catholics there were frequent reports of priests abusing altar boys. Niles Seminary was nothing but a club for gay preists to hit on altar boys who were now 18. Mundelein Seminary was a heavier dose than Niles.
When a priest was sleeping with the director of the local welfare office, the old ladies would say “Well, at least he isn’t doing it to the altar boys like all the others”.
The real story here is the way so many Catholics were resigned to what they knew was happening and let it continue.
In our American culture we have this excuse that “nobody knew”, which of course, is a lie. We know and don’t do anything about it.
If they got into a position of authority in the church, they are not innocent. At the very least they are complicit in their silence.
