Personally, I have been involved with SNAP (survivors) and I don’t hold it against the Catholic religion because there have been kids raped by Protestant ministers and rabbis (and no doubt imams though I don’t have personal knowledge). But the Catholic hierarchy has been pervasively covering up the bad seeds. The Pope is at the top. There is a lot of corruption in Rome (my son’s grandfather was from Rome) and that has been allowed to trickle down.
