Why do You stand afar off, O Lord ? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble? Psalms 10:1
Let us Pray

Heavenly Father, Ruler of All Nations, Creator of the Universe,
Hear our humble prayers.

Father, when burdens increase and answers don’t come we may, like the Psalmist cry out, “Why Lord?” Yesterday's verdict and plea deal feels like a gut punch. Why, Lord are You allowing our enemies to prevail?

We are facing a choice to let a bitter root grow up in our hearts or to remain firmly rooted in You. Focusing solely on what seem to be insurmountable troubles is sure to germinate doubt, fear, resentment and unbelief. Please help us to clothe ourselves in the spiritual armor You provide which will give us a powerful defense against Satan. We must stand firm against his evil schemes. Though he plots evil we know You plan for our eternal good.

We are cautioned repeatedly in Scripture that we will have many troubles, but that we should take heart because You help us to overcome them.

Father, though You’ve proven Yourself over and over, we ask for grace to trust You even more for that which troubles us today. Help us to continue in our prayers on behalf of President Trump. Protect him and our country. Preserve our liberty and give us endurance for that which is yet to come.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Lord may you continue to uphold our president and those who who lead our nation honorably. Protect them against the forces of evil who are out to destroy them.

Psalm 94

and wipe them out for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will wipe them out.

I really think the longer this witch hunt continues, the media pile on mounts, the diminishing return effect increases. People are increasingly like us—sick of the nonsense.

Trump keeps talking jobs, protecting the vulnerable and restoring liberty. The enemy is placing its chips on a foundation of sand. Wicked men will lose in the long run.

Paul told the Galatians “let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a fruitful harvest...” The exact context may be different, but the principle remains.
