Sounds like a threat to me. Intimidation and blackmail have been the calling cards of the lavender mafia that has entrenched itself within the Church. If the Vatican won’t move against prelates like this, the laity need to. And by that I mean public protests, the hiring of private investigators to tail these creeps and gather evidence against them, and endless demands to the Vatican to replace the derelict shepherd.
It is in the planning stages,a group by the name of Church Militant is going to have a protest in November when the bishops meet.
