Of course it is homosexuality - these guys are not going after little kids. They are going after boys who look like Caravaggio’s great sculpture, David. Or what they think looks like David - take it or leave it. A beautiful adolescent boy. Doesn’t anybody read homosexual novels or talk to a gay guy?!
Homosexuality is a symptom. The cause is the total collapse of the Faith, Catholic morality, and Church discipline and practice after VII.
Were there corrupt and evil people before that? Were there dissenters who were in place and wanted to destroy the Church before VII? Yes.
But VII finally officially put them in charge and gave them power. Its henchmen were ruthless in getting rid of anyone with any objections or even reservations. And of course, they completely stripped the world of all the familiar Catholic references, from the Mass and the feast days to the Tabernacle to the statues of the Saints in churches and to the habits and dress of religious order members and priests.
Nature abhors a vacuum, and gay men have always been particularly good at establishing themselves as the power group, each one protecting all the others, once they are given the opportunity to do so. And when the Church gave up Jesus for Freud and Marx, they had a more than perfect opportunity.
Vatican II must be declared a heretical council, and anyone who won’t reject it must be removed from any official position.
I’m wondering if you might mean Donatello’s (with hat!). Caravaggio’s painting ‘Bacchus’ also gets the point across. Or maybe you mean the famous David of Michelangelo. Contrary to modern scholarship, he was a chaste and religious man.
