A sexual offender is a sexual offender, priest or not.

If they are required to release the names of convicted sexual offenders to the community, they should for all of them, priest or not.

As it is, for all we hear about how the Vatican is addressing the issue, the cover up continues and the perps continue to be protected and defended.

So far as I know the Priests in this report were not convicted. Their names turned up in victim testimony taken by the Grand Jury. Releasing them would appear to be a gray area.

A sexual offender is a sexual offender, priest minister or not.

In fact the abuse in non-Catholic churches is higher than that for priests.

But they haven’t been convicted in court. Nevertheless the list of names is easy to find online. Harrisburg’s list, that is.
