It was a simulation of ordination. No actual ordination took place.

Good article that expresses the sides well.

The question is: is the law they’re applying from man or from the Trinity?

In the first century AD, none would’ve questioned this. 1000 yrs later, seems like almost every Catholic accepts that the Church and its most critical laws are man-made.

From the article:

Later, a lay Eucharistic minister gave her Communion, she said.

“Collingwood said “many” priests give Eucharist to ordained women, but that younger priests are more likely to deny them.”

A lib noting that young priests are more likely to deny is a good sign.

This is the new Women’s Rite of the Roman Church...

...there’s a Gay Rite too, but it’s been around for a longer time - they meet at the Vatican for parties.

God help those true Catholics living through this period of wrenching attacks on and to their faith.

The longtime parishioner and parish volunteer had been expecting it.

So stepping forward to receive was a contrived publicity stunt.

The Vatican considers the ordinations illicit and has said that the women priests and deacons incur automatic excommunication.

No, the Catholic Church (not just the "Vatican") considers the ordination of women as INVALID, not mearly illicit.

Sauline replied to the priest and deacon that she was hungry and thirsty "for that which Jesus called us to share,"

It's called "Confession". Sometimes also "Reconciliation". It's a Sacrament. Try it; you need it.

Good. It is about time people in the Catholic church push back against these horrible leftists.

Said a fervent young lady of Hammels,
"I object to humanity's trammels!
I want to be free, like a bird or a bee!
Oh, why am I classed with the mammals?"

If Kathleen O’Connell Sauline wants to become a clergy member, she needs to join the Episcopal Church.
