Here is the most recent interview with Miles Jones, the world's foremost expert on ancient written languagesWho wants to waste 54 minutes and 15 seconds of their life listening to a fella jabber on YouTube??
YOU watch to the meat of the matter; then right click; then select copy URL at current time and then paste THAT; telling us how long to watch afterward.

I grit my teeth that once more, E-S has inserted his irrelevant comments into a legitimate thread discussion and hijacked it become the center of attention to spread his his RoodiGordionism tripe. It makes for a little fun poking the caged monkey, but serves no purpose to illuminate why Jesus spoke of matters that to the casual observer seem to conflict with each other.
More on this later. There are weightier things to consider, especially regarding Pope's commingling of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of The God. Does anybody here know the difference, and why in one sphere, venial sins are customarily excusable and Mortal sins not; while in the other sphere, no sinning of any kind will be tolerated?

I can see the idea of two spheres. But I don’t get why sins should ever be considered anything but sin.
But it makes a kind of sense and I think it can be supported by Scripture that there is God’s temporal kingdom and God’s eternal kingdom, and we live in both.
The Catholic problem is that they take the temporal kingdom of God, which tends to deal with laws, actions, and worldly things, and apply it to the eternal kingdom of God.
For example, feeling lust in one’s heart does not deserve a jail term, but it is still sin that needs grace and forgiveness. The Catholic looks that it doesn’t deserve a jail sentence and then concludes that it must not be so bad.
that’s what it seems like to me at least.
