Prayer request for my Father and Family.

I am asking for prayers for my Father and Family.
My Dad, John Henry is 90 yrs and has been ill for the last 3 yrs.
3 weeks ago he fell and broke his hip and his chances of recovery were very poor.
He was being poorly cared for at Mercy Hosp. in Pittsburgh and we moved him to a hospice facility on Friday.
He is now out of pain but his time is short.
Dad is a proud Veteran of the US Army where he achieved the rank of Master Sgt and was wounded during the Huk rebellion in the Philippines in 1946.
My Parents are devout Catholics and Mom and he will celebrate 65 yrs of marriage in November

I prayed.
My late father of blessed memory fought in the Philippines in the Army, too. Had a plate in his skull after being hit by a bomb fragment.
A lot of good men fought there.
Don’t give in to despair.

Our Father in Heaven, we humbly ask for your hand to be upon eagles6's dad and family during this difficult time. We pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort them. We are thankful men such as he have lived and served this nation. In Your Son's most Holy and Precious Name do we pray.
I am sorry to read this about your dad. I lost my dad about six years ago. He was a Master Sgt in the Air Force but served stateside.
