I was only 11 but it was clear times were changing - church, cub and boy scouts, we were a real family, dinner at the table, no computers we all watched the 3 channels on tv together, dad took two weeks in July for Colorado - it was the best of times, but then there was a change.
Now I am just a bad ole white guy, christian, family, worked all my life, at least I got to enjoy seeing the Robert E Lee statues.
Not only did we have dinner at the table, but after-dinner family devotionals in the evening.
