I have been asked to make an anonymous prayer request for

a FReeper that is scheduled for a second test due to some unexpected results.

There are other challenges and difficulties in the family and they need strength to endure.

Please pray for this person and the entire family.

Here is one of my Mom Ruth's (92) favorite prayers for strength and guidance that

ironically our pastor illuminated in his Homily Sunday

Desire Joseph Cardinal Mercier (1851-1926) "I am going to reveal to you the secret of sanctity and happiness. Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to the things of sense and your ears to all the noises of the world in order to enter into yourself Then, in the sanctity of your baptized soul (which is the Temple of the Holy Spirit), speak to that Divine Spirit, saying to Him:

Oh, Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore you. Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do; give me your orders(my ma sez "and command me to do it" instead) . I promise to submit myself to all that you desire of me and to accept all that you permit to happen to me. Let me only know your will.

If you do this, your life will flow along happily, serenely, and full of consolation, even in the midst of trials. Grace will be proportioned to the trial, giving you the strength to carry it, and you will arrive at the gate of Paradise, laden with merit. This submission to the Holy Spirit is the secret of sanctity."

Update from the anonymous FReeper.

Test results were negative.

A VERY good thing and

other family issues are also clearing up.

Pinging everyone to this thread Tuscaloosa Goldfinch's daughter is

awaiting many test results for her daughter's vision issues

which are somewhat resolving Praise God!

I come to you for you to protect my eyesight and

to heal the illness in my eyes.

O St Lucy, preserve the light of my eyes so that

I may see the beauties of creation,

the glow of the sun,

the colour of the flowers and

the smile of children.
