Faith-filled believers around the world are praying the historic meeting between President Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un results in lasting peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and throughout the world, but it especially hits home for those in the Korean peninsula and in Singapore, where the monumental summit is taking place.

On Sunday, several churches just miles away from the Trump-Kim meeting location on Santosa Island, prayed for the two world leaders before their one-on-one discussion in hopes of North Korean denuclearization and a possible peace treaty to end the Korean War.

"Ask God to direct the course of the talks towards concrete outcomes for world peace," the Rev. Alvin Toh said at the St. Andrews Cathedral, an Anglican church near the venue for Tuesday’s bilateral discussion, reported Washington Examiner. Toh called for members to pray that “good will and diplomacy prevail” as well as prayers for protection and security....

This could quickly end a tremendous amount of misery for a lot of people.

Peace is “the presence of justice” and not merely the “absence of tension” as Martin Luther King once said...

“This could quickly end a tremendous amount of misery for a lot of people.”

And cause misery to democrats as they flail their arms and fling poo in all directions while trying to convince themselves that
A) It is a bad thing
B) Trump had nothing to do with it
C) It was going to happen anyway, and happened despite trump
D) it was really because of O’Bungholes policies
E) Meh, yawn, no big deal
F) Trump is literally worse than hitler

World peace.

The usual pipe dream through the millennia.

NK is but one nasty dictatorship among many. Even if Kim steps down, opens his country up to freedom for his people and comes into the light, it will not bring world peace. The other nations of the world who are oppressive are not going to follow him.

This is the same thought process as “peace in our time” brought by Neville Chamberlain when he sold out the Czechs to Hitler.

Never works because dictators lie and only act in their own self interest.

I join them.

I was born during the Korean War, so this has never been resolved in my entire lifetime and 13 Presidents.

It’s about time!

What part of “there will be wars and rumors of wars” don’t they get?
