“I like to Watch!”
Oh Yea!
How solid a stand? The catholic hospitals in the organization I work for have no problem with dispensing plan B in their ERs
I do not worry much about what the ‘world’ hates ... I concern myself with what God says He hates
Proverbs 6:16-19 King James Version (KJV)
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
20My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
I stand by my original comment. The Church has been very strong regarding abortion & euthanasia. Both are a one-way ticket to hell.
He gets into constant attack mode with all he opposes, frequently calling us conservative Christian Republicans as an epithet.
This, in spite of virtually none of those he attacks saying one single thing about religion. like it is some boogie-man he sees in all his perceived enemies.
For a while, I thought it was that thing in the old testament that apparently condemns homos to hell. I dunno, he is really a twisted one.
It is those same saints, by their good example who do lead others to Christ.
In a word, perverts and their supporters.
or....
GLBTMQWERTYXYZ DEVIANTS EVERYWHERE...
If someone has an abortion early in life and later becomes a follower of Christ.....Heaven or Hell?
Every believer in Christ is a saint. There are no distinctions of sainthood witnessed in the NT.
In this instance we can see those having faith alone as being hearers of the word and not doers, much in the same way as see those crying Lord, Lord in the verse below:
Matt 7:21Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
Im glad you stand by I dont think your church is as strong as you think
If the Church can’t even clean up its own priesthood of sex predators, after having had decades to work on the problem, it doesn’t reflect well on the creed.
Since when is the Creed, Faith, or Scripture dependent on the behavior of any man?
The Church, which is the subject under discussion, is wholly dependent upon the behavior of men.
The Church is dependent upon Grace, The Holy Spirit, Faith, Tradition (which preceded and defined Scripture), Scripture, Doctrine, and fidelity to each.
The behavior of men has ebbed and flowed forever and that will continue.
Whether you subscribe to the Catechism or not, (it has its reference to Scripture), you might take note of this:
"677 The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.578
The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy*, but only by God's victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven.
The Catholic Church has had bad Popes before and has survived. She will survive again!
Excellent. Thank you
