What part of "This is My Body" don't you understand?
This is My Body
Figure that one out
Already have...you have to keep the passage in context.
Why won't you answer a simple question? Because you can't, using Scripture.
Already have.
You claimed the following: Scripture says the Apostles - the first priests of the Church Christ established- have the sacramental powers to turn bread into His Body ("do this in remembrance of Me")
Scripture no where records the Apostles turning bread into His body.
The term transubstantiation did not come into existence until the 1200s.
Paul tells us why we have the Lord's Supper.... 23For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me. 25In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. 26For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lords death until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 NASB
Hence the reason I said context is your key to understanding the New Testament.
Likewise; what part of:
As often as you do THIS BREAD...
1 Corinthians 11:26
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
And just WHAT bread was it?
Why the Bread of the Passover; a YEARLY observance.
