Many people whose parents are of non-British origin become very British. Case in point Benjamin Disraeli who was a third generation immigrant — all his grandparents were Italian born Sephardic Jews.
You have to go back to Disraeli to write that foreigners become veddy veddy British???
In fact, muslims in Great Britain are not assimilating. I would think we would all know this by now.
