Former RC here - all you have to do is open the Holy Word of God to see the many inconsistencies in what they preach versus what The Lord preaches.

They are leaving in droves too - many many friends of mine are FORMER RCC members who are now attending regular Bible Studies/small groups/Bible-believing Churches.

I am former RC too.

The ways in which the Catholic Church chooses to differ from the Bible are not so dangerous in themselves but they are dangerous because it makes a division between the church and the Bible, which can lead people to not trust the Bible completely and be a sort of cafeteria Bible reader.

I think this may be why so many Catholics do not believe Bible prophecy. Aside from the replacementarian error.

I think we can plainly see why blind acceptance of whatever the "clergy" tells us is the truth is NOT what God wants us to do.
