The NHS is chock full of morons, particularly at the administrative level. The problem is that they have egos that make Big Ben seem the size of a child's wristwatch by comparison. They do not like being questioned, and THAT is the major motivating factor in all these cases. It's all about them and their egos. There is no room for ego in medicine, and if there were any justice in the UK these people would be kicked out of their NHS jobs and be made to work sweeping floors on the night shift at their local Tesco.
