Oh, no. This is not too much to ask.
What you are looking for is a church designed for people in the last generation - an old people's church. One that is not culturally relevant today, because you are still living in the culture you grew up in. They still exist, though generally shrinking as your peers die off or move to FL.
Given that the Scriptures do not specify choirs or specify instruments as the only allowed sources of music, you are seeking something based on personal preference. You can find this, if it is what you still want.
Oh, and clothing... Never specified. Man looks at the outward appearance. God looks at the heart.
No worries. I'm sure you will find these - particularly in areas of older people.
That is what mine did.
A pretty hateful comment.
You’re right on that.
I live in a small resort town in the mountains of Oregon and the only preachers that wear ties are the dwindling Missionary Baptist churches.
The growing, Evangelical churches all teach the Bible, and are strict in its preaching, but they wear jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes, like everyone else in town.
They also use electric guitars and drums.
It’s just like Paul being Greek to the Greeks, Roman tro the Romans, etc.
