Hi again, BG! For your inormation. Baptist Bible Fellpowship International is a network of pastors who agree on certain stated principles, but results in a system of "forward-looking" (emerging, contemporary practices) interdependent assemblies that EliRoom8 probably doesn't want to consider as candidates for his support. Here is a blunt unapologetic summary of that manifestation:

https://www.wayoflife.org/reports/baptist-bible-fellowship-internationals-road-to-emerging.php (click here)

Jerry Falwell's Thomas Road Baptist Church is one of them, and his Liberty University likely is affiliated with BBFI.

My observations on them is that they are somewhat successful both here in the US and in the missionary field by acting as "sheep-stealers"; that is, enlarging their assemblies by attracting disgruntled members of other ongoing churches, more than focusing on developing their own methods for recruiting disciples from the unchurched segment of a locality.

Here's a sentence from the above linked page:

"The BBFI was the first group of fundamental Baptists to reject biblical separatism and to go in a contemporary direction."

(I'm probably going to take some hits for showing my prejudice in this matter. A heckofan attitude on Resurrection Day. But I've had some of my own experiences with them concerning their ethical conduct.)

I’d agree with you.

I just didn’t see where it was mentioned in the OP.
