What have they ever done that benefits us?

I give zero shits about Israel.
Israel is surpassing Amerika in every scientific, technological, and medical front. Soon enough even in military technology.
Their country will be around when we’re long gone. Maybe you’ll give a $hit about that, but I doubt it.
Israel is a solid ally in the middle east.......

Well, I suppose they could have taken on the Soviet Union and defeated it for us.
Instead, they destroyed Sadam Hussein’s nuclear reactor and eliminated his nuclear bomb program. Surely that benefited us less than ten years later when we took him on the first time.
And then they did the same thing by ending the Syrian nuclear program. That certainly allowed Obama to keep on drawing imaginary lines in the sand.
Someone says they are allies. To me, that means a treaty, and there really isn’t one. All in all, though, I don’t mind the support we sometimes give them.
