Well, if you're worried about that, just an FYI: The Catholic Church has upheld chaste male-only pastors for at least 900 years, I don't think its going to change anytime soon because pop culture says its OK. They're also the most conservative church in the world when it comes to birth control. Even the most "liberal" Catholic bishops are well to the right of protestant churches with openly lesbian "bishops".

Except for all the homosexual, pedo priests the Vatican has been protecting and moving around to unsuspecting congregations for decades, if not centuries.

In practice the RCC is no better than those it condemns.

And *official church doctrine* is mere words, meaningless at that, if there are no actions to back up their claims.

If they'd practice what they preach, they'd have a lot more credibility.
