What the blip is this PICO National Network?
Key question: where does their funding come from?
I bet dollars to donuts it’s Soros front money, e.g. “Open Society Foundation”.
Disgusting!
These are the same bishops who support democrat abortionist Catholics like Pelosi, Durbin, Leahy, Kennedy, Biden, etc.
Like we don’t have enough poor, homeless, jobless Americans to care for before these illegals.
The catholic church, renowned for its history of corruption, totally supports their illegal alien open borders so they can make money off the aliens in the pews. And for NO,other reason.
They don’t need them in the pews. The feds pay them to ‘help’ the ‘immigrants’.
That too! Good catch. There is a lot of money involved in refugee assistance and similar rackets.
Pico has a sort of La Raza viewpoint. A few years ago they were in a parade or march and carried Mexican flags, mexican revolutionary slogans, etc. When people saw this on the news, they reacted negatively. So they switched to the upstanding families image instead, which worked. All USA flags, patriotic images. Not sure if they have changed, but at root of Pico is idea California “belongs” to Mexico and they are reclaiming it.
Mrs. Don-o,
This has been clarifying in my mind since your question on PICO. They were participants in the Vatican’s socialist melee in Modesto, CA last year, led by Cdl Turkson and Cdl Tobin (nighty-night baby), which produced The Modesto Memo, a treatise slightly left of Karl Marx.
They are 40 “faith based” groups combined. Looked around on the various websites, this Catholic Pico effort is super organized! Sorry, could not find the real story on funding.
“PICO is a national network of community organizations working to create innovative solutions to problems facing urban, suburban and rural communities. Since 1972 PICO has successfully worked to increase access to health care, improve public schools, make neighborhoods safer, build affordable housing, redevelop communities and revitalize democracy.”
That's like seeing a skull-and-crossbones on your baby's sippy cup.
Looks like something's happening: Here's a Google translation from

What I heard was that it a new encyclical on Salvation, and that it has as one of its major themes that Catholics like you (and me) --- we're no good. Down with the Self-Absorbed Promethian Neo-Pelagians, Doctors of the Law, people who are not fully aloft with the Spirit of Surprises and whatever's blowin' in the wind.PRESS CONFERENCE NOTICE
Accredited journalists are informed that on Thursday 1 March 2018, at 11.00 am, in the Press Office of the Holy See, in Via della Conciliazione 54, the Press Conference will be held presenting the letter Placuit Deo to the Bishops of the Catholic Church on some aspects of salvation Christian. If they could put it off one month, the timing would be better!
Interesting, PICO was founded by a Jesuit priest.
