Get to your point, if you have one.
The point has been made if you can understand it.
Go get that counseling....and soon.
Your advice is rejected.
I’m a Catholic.
But thanks, anyway.
I’m torn. On the one hand, I see where you’re coming from. On the other hand, I’ve seen plenty of priestly faces filled with reverence that seems absence here. It sorta looks like the ultimate Catholic, “You had ONE job” meme.
I'm a Christian.
There is a difference.
Now, go get that help...and soon.
We agree then.
There is a huge difference between Catholics and non-catholic “christians”.
To answer your question,I don’t think Francis is a real Catholic! And I’m Roman Catholic. First and foremost, he is a socialist politician.
There’s not that much daylight between Francis and Nancy Pelosi, and that is just horrifying.
Now go get that help.
I have all the help I need in the One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church with all Her sacraments.
Have a blessed Lent, if you even believe in it.
Matthew 5:43-48 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Let's see if you're man enough to admit you were wrong.
That's the first step in healing.
Now go get that help...and soon.
Always have to have the last word, as usual.
F is demonstrating his understanding of his status in the divine hierarchy, or of his disbelief in God.
It is natural virtue to love your friends.
It is supernatural virtue to love your enemies. It's something we can't do, or even *want* to do, without divine assistance which takes us above our human nature.
Thanks again for posting those verses.
Folks, this is not about kneeling, posture, prayer, etc. It’s Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. At the Exposition of the Host, either in a Monstrance or at Consecration, every Catholic falls to his knees (if able bodied), from pope to peasant. This is a special event, it’s not just a group praying. The moments the Sacrament is exposed are sacred.
