Europe's downfall began in 1914 and has gone down steadily since 1945. There are Freeper’s who have family members who served in WW2, including mine, heck, my late grandfather fought in France in 1918. Looking back on it, in the end, what was their sacrifice really for? For a bunch of feckless, ungrateful Europeans to fritter it all away to a horde of 7th. century barbarians?

You’ve won the Internet on this subject today in one sentence. Like you, I have a couple of generations who were in on the fights to save Europe from itself in the last century so it pains me greatly to see that all wasted. I even take it personally since I participated in the Cold War which allowed Europe to heal and learn that the Commies had to go. Now, with the benefit of recent history and the history of the Middle Ages easily available on Muslim invasion, bad choices are being made in the interest of appearing modern and ecumenical.

It is strange that the only Europeans I have any respect for, are former East Block, Warsaw Pact countries. I was in the USAF from 67 to 87, and NEVER once thought I would EVER live to see the day.
