For a bunch of feckless, ungrateful Europeans to fritter it all away to a horde of 7th. century barbarians? It is strange that the only Europeans I have any respect for, are former East Block, Warsaw Pact countries. I was in the USAF from 67 to 87, and NEVER once thought I would EVER live to see the day.
