Hard to argue against jail. I have read numerous articles on this and she is a bit crazy, did this to spite her husband who had different request on this (both Catholic so unclear), and she ignored the judge who said no until it was straightened out.
She went to jail for defying a court order.

This isn’t the judges business. It’s BS. Jail?? Ridiculous.
“Bad Girl, Bad Girl!
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do
When they Baptize you?”
No doubt both the father and mother were baptised when they
we’re children and have no idea what it is for, they just as well belong to the moose club as belong to a church.
Jailed for contempt.
If they were both strong Christians they would have settled in within the church family.
On the other hand, if they were both strong Christians they probably wouldn’t be getting a divorce.
Sad.
That is an erroneous title.
She is in jail because she defied a court order that the judge handed down giving her ex-husband control over religious decisions for the child.
The next day she went out gave the finger to the judge and the husband and behind his back did this.
Women believe they are free to get away with anything. Defy laws they do not like. Attack cops that are detaining them. Lie about sexual assault and detroy innocent mens lives. Murder anyone they want especially if they are inside them. Defy a court order they dont like.
Awalt.
Interesting dilemma for the officiant performing the baptism.
Wow. This is a pretty in your face act of defiance to a judicial order and also of calculated spite directed to the father. If I were the judge I would have to seriously consider giving sole custody of the child to the father and limiting the mother to supervised visitation. She sounds like she is several fries short of a Happy Meal.
