I don’t think that the creator of the Superman Comic Book Character had any idea about the meanings of the names he made up for his characters and places. But...as we have often explored in in this series, there are many deep things going on that we have NO idea about, and that there are no “coincidences”.

Interesting Superman masked his powers as humble Clark Kent. And everyone around him did not know who he was—except his adopted folks.

Another parallel.

And the time the series was created, the Bible was more well known and accepted in our society. Perhaps, much of the inspiration came unconsciously from a biblical worldview.
