The traditional Anglican baptism (and reaffirmation) includes the following:

Q : Dost thou renounce the devil and all his works, the vain pomp and glory of the world, with all covetous desires of the same, and the carnal desires of the flesh, so that thou wilt not follow, nor be led by them?

A : I renounce them all.

How can a queer or "transgender" utter this oath before God with a straight face? I wonder if these clowns ever heard of the phrase cognitive dissonance?
