January 3, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Fewer than half of 18- to 21-year-olds worldwide think others should be free to express non-violent opinions that are offensive to minorities, according to a study highlighted by The Economist.
The data come from the Varkey Foundation and was released in February 2017. Only about half of the world’s young people support free speech, it revealed, but nearly two-thirds support same-sex “marriage.”
The study asked two questions about free speech: whether “people should have a right to non-violent free speech in all circumstances even when what they say is offensive to a religion” and whether “people should have the right to non-violent free speech in all circumstances even when what they say is offensive to minority groups.”
Youth expressed more support for free speech that is offensive to religions than they did for free speech that is offensive to minorities.
The study also indicates that 74 percent of young people worldwide support the same rights for transgender-identifying individuals as for others. It does not appear that the youth were asked whether they believe it’s possible for one to “change” genders.
Similarly, the study says 66 percent of young people worldwide think “safe abortion” should be legal. The survey didn’t define “safe abortion” or “abortion.”

Oh well. It’s not like the teachers who brainwashed these kids have anything to fear from normal Americans.
Our education purposely ruined at least two generations of children for the sole purpose of making them into Democrat voters.
They can serve no other function than that.

Three generations have navigated through organized state education since the extreme left made its takeover goal a reality. This is exactly why they pursued the goal of controlling the narrative by indoctrinating the impressionable young.
And I bet they all wear makeup. They just don't make young men like they used to. Too many effeminate men in the world today. Too many Pajama and Soy boys. It ain't natural or normal at all.
At some point this will come back to haunt these lost generations in a big way. They may even become slaves to a stronger more male dominant culture, say, Islam for instance. Strangely enough; these effeminate young men might even like that. Sad. Very Un-American.
The Varkey Foundation has partnered with a variety of major global organizations including UNESCO, UNICEF, and the Clinton Global Initiative. In 2013 it launched the Global Education and Skills Forum, an annual education summit dedicated to addressing the world’s educational needs. After analyzing the public status of teachers worldwide, in 2014 it launched the annual Global Teacher Prize, a $1 million award to an outstanding pioneering teacher who has had a widespread impact.
Perhaps they will find the winner at Ballou High School in Washington D.C.
Up until now I’ve been inclined to give the yutes of America the benefit of the doubt. Now, I’m not so certain that a significant number of them aren’t ignorant Snowflakes.
If this be so, then why did one DJT get elected in November of 2016? A sure sign these same folks got fed-up with the course of the direction of the USA.
I think you’ve identified the prototype modern “education” as envisioned by our very smart educrats.

May God lead them back to the path of life.
But they weren’t educated.
They were brainwashed.
I don’t think it was due to 20 somethings. maybe some thirty somethings, but I don’t know.

The brainwashed cannot and won’t hear you.
Pretty sure the idea is to encourage and empower individuals to seek the truth for themselves - thus preventing brainwashing.
Which brings us back to who’s responsible for doing that.... instead of bleating for their favorite herd in the National Felons League.
Hint: It’s not “somebody else”.
