Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial of one Being with the Father, was bound by cultural prejudices and succumbed to misogyny and bigotry. He, presumedly, did this because if he had chosen men to be apostles he would have been rejected by the Jews, been arrested, led outside of the city, and would have been crucified. Then his followers would have also been rejected by both the Jews and the Romans, and would have suffered 300 years of persecution. Wait, all of that actually happened.
