Bienno, Italy, November 23, 2017 (LifeSiteNews): A close friend of Saint John Paul II has affirmed that the late pope, revealed to have been a mystic, told him that Europe would be invaded by Islam.
Speaking to a large group at the hermitage of “Saints Peter and Paul” this past October, Monsignor Mauro Longhi of the Opus Dei prelature recounted a conversation he had with the late pontiff in March of 1993 on one of their many hiking trips in the mountains. Given that its been happening nearly constantly for the past 1400 years, it wasn’t a difficult prediction to make.
So we have a previous Holy See who considers Islam as BAD, apparently, and a newer Holy See that embraces Islam and has described the Koran as a Holy Book on par with the Bible. When did the Koran pass muster as a Catholic Holy Book????
Seriously: If someone of great repute revealed some equally important prediction to me, I wouldn't be able to get to the news agencies fast enough.
I'm assuming that, in the case at hand, there was an implication of confidentiality that was not to be broken. What a shame!

Back in 1985 my mother was at the bedside of her mother who lived in Berlin and who was dying. When she returned after burying her mother I asked her if she ever planned to return to Berlin where she grew up. She said no. She said that it had been taken over by Afghanis and that it was no longer the same. That was in 1985 when the writing was clearly visible on the wall. I’m sure the Pope saw the same in his travels.
I visited Malvo, Sweden in 2000.
