Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Meditating Upon The Names and Attributes of God
The Hope of Israel
Spring of Living Water
(Old Testament)
Jeremiah 17
Lord, you are the hope of Israel;
all who forsake you will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust
because they have forsaken the Lord,
the spring of living water.
3. (End of Scripture Passage)
The Hope of Israel
Spring of Living Water
For Those of Us In The Garden who Love the Gospels, there is a Wonderful Story in the 8th Chapter of John that Corresponds to this Scripture from the Prophet Jeremiah.
"Living Water" is that which is Flowing, Aerated, Clean and Refreshing. It has both and intake and an outlet to insure its fresh live-giving properties. The Dead Sea has an intake (The River Jordan) but NO outlet. The Ancient Sages recognized this fact, and concluded that if one continues to TAKE, but not GIVE, the result is stagnancy, waste, and death. The Dead Sea is an Allegory for the Heart. The Law of God is Indeed "Written in the Earth" for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
O LORD, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you shall be put to shame;
those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth,
for they have forsaken the LORD,
the fountain of living water.

Our Father
We Know You Are The One True God
You are Life!
And You Are The HOPE OF ISRAEL
You Restore and Refresh Our Souls
How We hunger and Thirst For Your Righteousness
Like a Deer panting for the stream of water.
Just As You created the Molecules of Hydrogen and Oxygen,
And caused them to merge to create Miraculous and Life-Giving Water
We Humbly Ask For You To Revive Our Spirits by Filling us with Your Living Water.
We Ask That You bring all that has been hidden out into the daylight.
We Plead on behalf of the Widows, Unemployed, Orphans, and Homeless.
We Plead for our Military, who get prosecuted for doing their job.
We Pray For Upright, Transparent, Just Government Honestly Elected by the people, For the people, and Of the people.
We Pray for Living Water to Flow throughout the land, cleansing us from all iniquity and bringing New Life.
We Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem,
According to your Will and Promise.
Let the people say:
"It is The LORD who has given us this land,
and not we ourselves."
For it is Not By Might,
Not By Power,
By By Your Spirit
That The enemy Shall Be Overcome.
May the Leaders of Our Own Beloved USA
Receive Wisdom from You
to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Back in the 1960's, TV was rapidly biting into the fortunes of the Movie Industry. Hollywood had to come up with something fast that would be better than the little box in the living rooms of America. It was the Era of the Blockbuster, Spectacular, CinemaScope, Technicolor, Epic Film Experience. In Boston, there was a Theater devoted to special movies that wrapped around the audience, and thundered through huge speakers to give the audience the "Full 3D" Experience. My Dad loved this theater, and ended up purchasing the very same speakers for our living room.
One of the movies shown at this special theater was "Lawrence of Arabia". It was very long and definitely spectacular, and worth the high admission charge. Just before the Intermission, Lawrence embarks across a piece of desert known as "The Devil's Anvil". The scene was so realistic that, the very instant the scene ended and Intermission began, the ENTIRE Audience piled out into the lobby to line up at the drinking fountain. The realistic, wraparound cinematography, combined with Maurice Jarre's magnificent score, triggered something so primal in the audience that we all JUST HAD to DRINK WATER.
In Both Old and new Testament, The One True God tells us that HE is this Living Water for Whom we thirst. No amount of modern inventions, conveniences, or scientific achievements can change that!
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"Living Water" is that which is Flowing, Aerated, Clean and Refreshing. It has both and intake and an outlet to insure its fresh live-giving properties. The Dead Sea has an intake (The River Jordan) but NO outlet.
This has got to be one of the most moving articles I have ever read, and I read a lot. You really have to see the whole thing, but here's a small excerpt:
To this very day, Rachel weeps for her children. As the mother of all children, she watches over us and weeps with and for us. She sheds a tear for every lonely child, for every suffering youngster or adult.
And these are not mere tears. They are the tears of a loving mother, tears that water the seeds of our parched souls, allowing them to bear fruit: Their souls will be like a watered garden, and they will sorrow no more (Jeremiah 31:11).

Living water, Rachel's tears. Rachel and David are connected at Bethlehem and are both intrinsic to the Redemption. Mama Rochel, father David. The Davidic Covenant was referred to as a covenant of salt, and eyes are the windows to the soul. Rachel's soul went out in the place where David was born. Tears, eyes, and souls... a connection so intimate that it bears fruit, because the loving tears "water the seeds of our parched souls."
Bread (lechem) is comprised of the same letters as salt (melach). And Joseph dreamed (chalam, same letters) a dream about his mother.
A house of bread is a bakery, and the smallest child learns very quickly how to recognize one by scent. Reyach (scent), ruach (spirit).
