They were not silently praying but instead were disrupting the event and it looks to me that this was their intent.
I appreciate their feelings at a Protestant event taking place in a Catholic Cathedral and I admire their peaceful but insistent protest.
Now they have to maturely accept the consequences of that protest.
Gee, why is anyone surprised. Neither side agrees with the other and that will never change.
That was not very ecumenical to disrupt a sanction event. I thank them for their honesty so I know where they stand.
