-—And Bergoglio still will not genuflect at Mass.-—

Is there something wrong with his knee, or does he flat out refuse to genuflect to our Lord?

If the latter - he will surely be bending a knee one day. But by then it may be too late.

I've been following this “Pope-Francis-won't-kneel-story” for a while, and it seems this Pope really, really refuses to kneel during Mass or before the Blessed Sacrament, and it isn't on account of knee problems. (You'll recall how infirm JPII was, yet HE always attempted to kneel.) I've seen many photographs in which priests all around Pope Francis are kneeling, while the Pontiff himself is not. It's obvious this Pope is resisting kneeling.

Okay thanks. I just wanted to exhaust all other possibilities before offering my condemnation.

I’m very nervous for the Church. It seems a major schism is unavaidable. But I also believe that the gates of hell will not prevail (Matt 16:18).

A small Church of true believers is far better than a large Church of heretics.

I don’t think that Francis believes in the Real Presence or in God. He is truly a political head of the Church.

I agree. Pope Francis obviously detests Catholicism; I suspect he's actually an atheist. He clearly wants to destroy the Church by purging it of all belief in the supernatural. He hardly ever talks about religion, except to deride Catholic beliefs. He's obsessed with (left-wing) politics and worldly matters.

Early this year, the blogger "Fra Cristoforo" on Anonimi Della Croce posted about the development of an "Ecumenical Mass" for Catholic and Protestants to celebrate together. The blog is now back with a new address and the rumour has actually gained some credibility.

I don't know why. This is the putz who teased everyone by saying he was going to publish a copy of the letter that made Benedict resign. He disappeared before the date the letter was supposed to be published (which was around Easter).

I still think it's Spadaro.

Francis is a repulsive creature, but he is actually only a distillation of Vatican II. Like most of them, he’s elderly...but unfortunately, he got the power in time to appoint some slightly younger followers who will insure that the Church is destroyed just in case he dies before managing to carry it out.

So yes, I think schism is inevitable - but it’s Francis and his group creating the schism, and they are the schismatics. It’s true that they’ll be able to carry off the property, the art works, and possibly even the name, but they won’t be the Catholic Church.

We shall see who emerges as the real successor to St Peter. It’s clearly not Bergoglio.

He brought it back from World Yute Day in Rio.

Here’s a video. Not a genuflection nor even a bow before the tabernacle.

Put him on an NFL sideline.

I read a long and reasoned argument that Nergoglio is NOT the Pope because there can be only one pope at a time and Benedict did not actually “quit.” In secular terms he took a “leave of absence” and is thus still Pope. When he dies then it is actually time for a conclave to choose a new Pope. The split is already there. I tried to find the article before I commented but was unsuccessful. Unfortunately Bergo is in possession of the levers of authority and power in the Church. God has his answer and we may not like it. Our view is limited in time by our mortality. God has a little more time.

Liked your post, yet, as someone born after Vatican II, I feel compelled to make this point: Pope Francis is more than a “distillation of Vatican II” because he is, I suspect, an actual atheist. I have come to accept that Vatican II caused an actual break with true Catholicism. However, I think that Francis is more than just a natural development in this break. This Pope and his sycophantic followers are not merely weak or mistaken; they are evil and they detest Catholicism and they want to destroy the Church. I assert the following with neither pride nor shame, rather, just matter-of-factly: I’ve attended just ONE Latin Mass in my life, so I have no dog in the Latin Mass fight...yet, in just the last couple of months, I have realized what is really going on...yes, Vatican II was a tragedy...but the even greater tragedy was when Francis became Pope...Pope Francis is hollowing out the Catholic Church...he is transforming it into and entirely secular institution...how many (or few) Catholics — Traditionalist or non-Traditionalist — are at all aware of this?
