I will work on posting Miracle of the Sun

Currently, there are two significant events [recently] that are the hand of God that are important:

1. Earthquake in North Korea

2. Hurricane Ophelia - predicted currently to strike Ireland and Scotland. It is currently scheduled to strike Ireland on the Day of October 16th 2017

I edited the EWTN article to make it HTML friendly for Freerepublic.

The following is the curent track of Hurricane Ophelia. This is updated the United States Hurricane Tracking Center, so after about October 18th, it will probably not be valid.

[NOTE: A Hurricane striking Ireland is an unusual event. Maybe this is a call from God to Christians in Europe.]

From an unwashed neverromancatholic,

Doesn’t it seem ODD, that Catholics, who are so much about exorcisms and somesuch, are discussing “a ghost” and “it’s soothsaying” two weeks before Hallow’s eve?

**Apparition** is another term used by Poe and Lovecraft for ‘ghost’.

I say ‘soothsaying’, because it is the Catholic world, that derides all those Protestant ‘words of the Lord’, ‘witnessing’, and ‘prophesying’.

At least, in all the written records available, the Protestants have not said that ‘an apparition’ told them so.

Happy Hallow’s Eve.

As a Christian, I have been told to "know a tree by its fruit: a good tree produces good fruit, a bad tree produces bad fruit". This is a quote by Jesus in the Bible.

Your reference to EXORCISM indicates the TREE OF BAD FRUIT

Things associated with a miracle would be the TREE OF GOOD FRUIT

The Miracle of the Sun was seen by people in an area 30 miles around Fatima, Portugal.

The event was documented by the two ATHESTIC newspapers in Portugal.

Why? The three children were told that a miracle would happen on October 13th.

Thirty-three years prior to this, Pope Leo XIII had his famous vision

Your view is either AGNOSTIC or ATHESISM.

Examples of the TREE OF GOOD FRUIT:

Akita, Japan, where a NUN who was DEAF was healed of her deafness. There were apparitions associated with it.

The MANY, MANY miracles of Lourdes, France where there have been so many miracles that they discard any that have the slightest hint of being able to be explained by SCIENCE.

Finally, the Miracle of the Sun was witnessed by more than 50,000 people (according to secular newspaper accounts.

There were many people healed at this event.

Consider Halloween, which according WIKIPEDIA is:

Halloween is the evening before the Christian holy days of All Hallows' Day (also known as All Saints' or Hallowmas) on 1 November and All Souls' Day on 2 November, thus giving the holiday on 31 October the full name of All Hallows' Eve (meaning the evening before All Hallows' Day).

Currently, most people celebrate evil spirits not holy people.

If you dressed up as Saint Francis of Assisi (who San Francisco is named after, you would be celebrating a HOLY PERSON/Holy Spirt.

Angels are also Holy Spirts (Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Gabriel the Archangel.

The Gospel of Luke starts off with an APPARITION of a WOMAN named MARY by the ARCHANGEL Gabriel.

However, I am getting into an area where FAITH, HOPE, and CHARITY help greatly to understand.

An example of an APPARITION is the first part of the Gospel of Luke where an Angel appears to Mary, Mother of Jesus.

That is the most succinct example of this.

Dear topher,

re: ‘However, I am getting into an area where FAITH, HOPE, and CHARITY help greatly to understand. ‘

Military veterans know all there is to know about ‘faith’.
Amidst all my morning medications (numbers more than fingers to count), ‘hope’ is to see my adoptive granddaughter - the target of my ‘charity’, graduate high school with letters in cross-country, basketball, and track and field.

Happy Hallowe’en.

Dear topher,

Your view is either AGNOSTIC or ATHESISM.

<< I stated my view as ‘nevercatholic’. >>

<< Notice for all the three places ‘namedropped’, not one of them were the U.S.A. >>

A former landlord’s wife and her sister went to ‘Slovakia’ for Medjurgorye. Said it had as many bazaars set up, as ol’ Salem, MA has during October.

Happy Hallowe’en.

re: ‘Thirty-three years prior to this, Pope Leo XIII had his famous vision’

Who d’at? I meant it when I said ‘nevercatholic’, defined by no catholic nothing, no person, no how, no way, no where.

The research is conclusive by the very diligent researchers w ho wrote the trilogy. There was NO "miracle of the sun."

The largish craft did fairly common stuff resulting in the PERCEPTION of the "miracle of the sun."

The personages involved were also somewhat typical critters PLAYING ASSIGNED ROLES to dupe the masses. It seems it worked very well--particularly with a church hierarchy so eager to manipulate and profit from the events.

Sorry, I misunderstood. You might be interested in the story of holy Christian (Gladys Alyward) who was not a Catholic. It is by Alan Burgess and the title is: The Small Woman

My reply is longer as a tool to help people spiritually. I would be happy if they convert to Christianity or change their life to be purer and less sinful.

If you had not read it, the book The Small Woman by Alan Burgess. It is the biography and TRUE STORY of Gladys Aylward. It is the story of a woman (non-Catholic, Christian)) who decided she would be a missionary in China (Great Faith). Just buy a one way ticket. Make no plans. Do not learn Chinese. Do not arrange to meet anyone.

This was before World War II but after World War I that she eventually arrived in China.

It is the TRUE story of Glays Aylward.

The book is much better than the movie Inn of the Sixth Happiness, which has a lot of Hollywood fantasies added to it.

One important thing she was able to accomplish was to end the barbaric practice of FOOT BINDING.

I am putting information in this thread for the hope of CONVERSION of SINNERS and CONVERSION to Christianity (we are all one big family, as Jesus said, there will be infighting in this family

I knew a former DELTA FORCES commander. He was able to get great FAITH by at least one incident the HARD WAY.

He lost 30 men because the wind shifted. This was in California.

He had great FAITH and I believe he attends a large BAPTIST church in a large US Metro Area.

Finally, there may be a way to be translated as RADIATION/RADIACTIVE POISONING.

In the Ukrainian Language, Chernobyl means WORMWOOD.

Where does WORMWOOD appear in the Bible? Book of Revelation.

It is about a STAR falling into the sea (bright light, as in Hydrogen bomb (FUSION) or Atomic bomb (Fission))

In those terms, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the two Christian centers in Japan.

In one of them Maximilian Kolbe built a church. He built it such that it was shielded by the PLUTONIUM BOMB explosion.

In the Catholic Church, He is known as Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

Hiroshima has the story of some Jesuits who is considered to have survived the Atomic Bombing. After 1/2 of them were in the area 1 mile from ground zero.

None of them died of cancer. They lived until the 1970's and at that time were examined by a number of scientists.

Read title: Catholic Caucus

Maybe you need to go somewhere else to play.

As for Christopher (aka Topher), it literally means Christ Bearer

The literal meaning of my full name is:

The Christ Bearer who is like God, son of Gift of God.

It is based on three Christian names Christ Bearer, the name of an angel, and the name of an Apostle (as in one of the twelve chosen)

This is a Catholic Thread.

Pope Leo XIII is important in this thread.

The author of the book 1984 decided on his title based on the year he wrote it, 1948.
