I thank you for that prayer. My mother in law was a Gold Star Mother. Her husband never got over his son’s death in Vietnam. I had to ID his body in a neighboring town....suicide. Riding with the sheriff to that site was quite an experience (in addition to viewing and Identifying the mangle body.)

Oh, dear one, my thoughts are with you today. My own Mom was a Gold Star mother. You and I know indeed the sorrows that go with that. It was 73 years ago that we hung the Gold Star banner in our front window. The pain never goes away.
