You have as much of a divinely-granted charism to speak on this topic as I do, Holiness. That is to say: none at all.
Do your job. Your job is to teach Catholicism and govern the church, not pick sides in a scientific debate that isn't even germane to the faith.
A political Pope who is heavy with lecture and secular nonsense does little for a church that needs direction and leadership. His alliances are very suspect. Furthermore,our religion cannot stray from its core beliefs and mission. Maybe the Pope firmly believes He IS doing this,but I whole halfheartedly disagree as do most Catholics that I know of.
