Jan spends the hour with Pastor J.D. Farag who believes God is sending final warnings. Things cannot continue on as is without something snapping. The earth is reeling and God wants our attention. Is anybody listening?
“Only a fool or Biblically illiterate simpleton would come to the conclusion that you and 90% of the rest of the naysayers on this thread came to.”
Well, you just let us know when Jesus taps you on the shoulder.
Simpletons think everything is a “sign from God!”
Can you please offer more concrete proof? Anyway I do recall years ago trolling the Internet when somehow I happened upon this very mystical music that sounded like a heavenly choir. I have never been able to find it since. My wife, who was sitting nearby and who is deeply spiritual although suffering from mental/emotional illness, began to quietly weep. I thought OMG! Is this some angelic choir, and my dear wife is missing her true home?

I think they’re playing it safe. They don’t want to come across as date-setting nut-jobs like Harold Camping. It’ll play right into the mockers of 2 Peter 2:3-4 like everybody on this thread.
If you ever have read Pete Garcia or Matt Ward’s articles on technology and how fast it’s moving PAST the point of the technology in the Book of Revelation in the next few years, you’ll know that not only we’re in the season - but on the doorstep of the end. The shelf-life for this period of time is about up - or it’s up in less than 2 years. Singularity will be achieved in less than 10 years easily.
Ward’s article below points to this. It’s long, but well worth it.

He commands us to know the signs. He was highly upset that the Pharisees didn’t know of His first coming (Luke 12:56), and He expects us to “WATCH” in Mark 13 (Just read the whole chapter).
We are to know the “season” and we’re in it knee deep.
Yes!
They are all over this forum on FR.
We’re watchers on the wall trying to warn folks that the End Times storm is coming. Jesus has let everybody know what season we’re in if you’ll just spend time reading His word.
I’ll give you one quick example of just how close. Never before in the history of man have the alliances spoken of in Ezekiel 38/39 ever occurred. It’s not a coincidence that in the last year that alliance has literally been set by the major players (Iran, Russia, Turkey). Turkey has even been getting some S-400 missiles from Russia - how does that compute for a NATO nation?
Question: “Are we living in the end times?”

The usual Heaven’s Gate stuff.
This is a good response to the idea that we can’t know the season of the rapture:

This is a another good, but long, video explanation of why we may know the season, if not the day or hour.

Generally, I’ve read that this information (approach of rapture) was not revealed to us until recently because we couldn’t handle knowing 10 years, 20 years, or even one year in advance. Who would live a normal life if they thought the rapture was in 8 years or even 30 years? Who would plan for college or build a business? The 13th sign of the zodiac was never in the news throughout my long life and yet it’s now popular - information revealed at it’s time, when it’s needed. I’ve also read/watched good arguments for Christians knowing when vs. those who don’t believe, and that those who watch will not be surprised.
Long before Barack Obama said “never let a good crisis go to waste”, there were the religious Fear Merchants, who said “never let a good crisis go to waste, there are donations to be had”.
Before we went to church today, I listened to Christian radio on my way to get bagels. A pastor was explaining how we as believers in Christ are given discernment through the Holy Spirit, so that we have the mind of Christ. It isn't a coincidence that true Christians are of a like mind on social issues and stances on morality. The world is going mad, but believers in Christ are grounded in the truth.
Therefore, I also believe that we know the season and the urgency of the hour, because it says in God's Word:
But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

Just an FYI: Standard tide websites currently predicting 80ft waves offshore as IRMA passes. It would explain where all the “missing water” has gone.

Thanks for the ping to Ward’s article. I will read that brother!
We are definitely in a significant season. There’s been quite the shift the last few years.
That is why I have begun to take a closer look at the scriptures in regards to what has been happening in regards to the weather.
Could it be that those who have been posting are just simply heeding the warning about false prophets?
Who do you think is a false prophet?
The folks who are trying to warn people that God’s Judgement is coming?
IMHO if you just look around that much is evident. A False Prophet is somebody who deceives people into believing something other than truth or a fact. We’re not setting dates.
Yet the Gospels carries great weight because Our Lord speaks directly.
Yes, and what Book of Scripture did Jesus tell you to read and understand to know about the End Times? The Book of Daniel. What did Jesus do on the Road to Emmaus? He explained how the whole of the Scriptures testified about Him. No Gospel had been written at that time. When Paul talks about all Scriptures being suitable for instruction is he talking about the Gospels? No! The whole story is in the Old Testament.
