One scripture comes to mind when I read this. I think it is 1 John 4 where John says to us, “If we say that we Love God but do not Love our neighbor, then we are a liar.”
One night in meditative prayer I was feeling empty, missing the full blown feeling of God’s Love I had felt when I died and left my physical body. I cried out in tears, “God, Please let me come home and be with you again!”
God replied, “Love me in all the people around you.” “But it’s not the same,” I shouted back. “Find me in them and you will help them find me too” He replied.
