President Putin has slammed Pope Francis for “pushing a political ideology instead of running a church”, and warned that the leader of the Catholic Church “is not a man of God.”
“Pope Francis is using his platform to push a dangerous far-left political ideology on vulnerable people around the world, people who trust him because of his position,” Putin said.
He dreams of a world government and a global communist system of repression.
“As we have seen before in communist states, this system is not compatible with Christianity.”
“If you look at what he (the Pope) says it’s clear that he is not a man of God. At least not the Christian God. Not the God of the Bible,” Putin said at the Naval Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Kronstadt.

Pope Francis’s idea that Americans would be better off under a world government doesn’t stop there. The radical leftist pontiff also went on record stating that Europe should become one country under one government.
He is also on record calling for a China-style one child policy for Western nations, as well as telling a congregation in Rome that having a personal relationship with Jesus is “dangerous and harmful.”
While Putin is a practicing Christian, he is not a Roman Catholic, and the pope is not his leader. According to his recent statements, President Putin does not even consider Pope Francis to be Christian.
The Russian president is rarely openly critical of foreign leaders, instead preferring to use diplomacy to win people over to his side. However notorious globalists including George Soros, Jacob Rothschild and Bill Gates have received tongue lashings before, and now Pope Francis has joined their company.
Pope Francis is trying to lay the groundwork for a global communist government. President Putin is wise to his ruse and has called him out on it. It’s time for more world leaders to tell the pope to stay in his own lane.

Plus I remember when the Russians hosted the Winter Olympics 3 years ago, had seen an opening video showing what looked like Christian missionaries from the Byzantine Empire bringing the Christian to the early Russians.
This is a misconception that has misled many people. Catholics worship God alone. This is from the "Gloria," a prayer said at every Sunday Mass:
"For You alone are the Holy One,
You alone are the Lord.
You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
With the Holy Spirit
In the glory of God the Father. Amen."
This is adoration.
Any other level of honor is just that, honor. Scripture says "Honor those to whom honor is due," "Honor your father and your mother," "The Father will honor whoever serves Me," and many other examples.
Therefore we are right to honor those whom God Himself honors: those who serve Jesus Christ.
The Catholic Church makes careful distinctions here. The supreme worship given to God alone is called "latria." The lesser, subordinate honor given to created beings who serve Christ, is called "Dulia" and, with reference to Mary, "Hyperdulia" (highest earthly honor, due to the wonderful way she, the humble handmaid, served Christ.)
I am happy to be able to clarify this --- I know many people (even Catholics) are not familiar with the exact distinctions.
Mischarecterizing Putin's comments about the fall of the Soviet Union is something deep state puppets like to do.

The truth coming out of the former godless Soviet Union about Pope FRancis — far out!
Putin has been functioning as the “New Czar” in earlier times he would have simply declared himself Czar. His family would now be the new ruling house. If we interpret this in Machiavellian terms it would be in his best interest, his family and more importantly Russia’s interest to do so. Why would it be in Russia’s interest for him to do this? Two words - stability & continuity! Russia right now is a unique combination of a New-Old state. (This ‘New-Old” condition is inherently unstable!) It’s “New” because its shed the long nightmare of the foreign ideology - Communism. It’s also “New” because it exists in the context of the modern world with modern technology, etc. It is “Old” because it now looks back to its pre-communist history and culture and sees much of it as positive, inspiring & useful. (Hopefully pulls out the right lessons!) However it has yet to answer the question ‘ What is it?’ Meaning what type of Nation-State. Western style parliamentary democracy, secular authoritarian state, religious authoritarian state, maybe even a monarchy (absolute or otherwise!) none of this automatically makes them our friend or our enemy. It needs to settle on something because those two words “stability & continuity” have to be settled because the next step is anarchy which would be bad for Russia, the USA & the world.
Right now my question is: “After Putin what?”

You are exactly right, Yaelle. Catholic philosophers (and every pope before Francis --- you know,the ones who taught Catholicism !!!) call this localism principle "Subsidiarity," and consider it as being a part of Natural Law.
Got to remember that with Trump in the White House the USA is going through beginning of a rebuilding process. The new/old here as well.

Sad that so many folks are deceived these days.
I don't remember him saying these things at all, and I find them hard to believe, unless someone has the exact quotes. However, I have no problem with anything else in the article.
