Please don't misunderstand me. I never suspected trickery. And I do know what ordinance means.
You used Col. 2:14 in a manner suggesting the Ten Commandments are abolished. They are not. The ordinances and rites (such as sacrifice and circumcision) were nailed to the cross. They foreshadowed the coming of the Christ. They serve no further purpose. But as you said "The law has only one purpose, to show you how much of a wicked, evil person you truly are and why you need Jesus Christ to save you."
Do you not agree we still need that? The Law does not save. It never did. But it is still valid.

Yes, the law is valid! In that, it shows lost people that they are evil, wicked, lost and in desperate need of Jesus Christ. It serves no other purpose than that. People who are saved have Jesus Christ living in them and His perfect fulfillment of the law, His righteousness, His Holiness is imputed to those who believe in Him.

Phillipians 3:9
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

When someone says they want to go back to Mount Sinai and be put back under the law, is to bring themselves back under the curse of the law.

Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

When a person has the Jesus Christ of Bible Christianity, he has everything God wanted to accomplish with His law and with His prophets.

The conversion of a lost sinner!

Who because of what Christ did for him on the cross may now enter into His marvellous eternal and glorious Kingdom

Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 7:4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

A common abominable falsehood.

The Takanot and Ma’assim (ordinances) of the Pharisees were nailed to the cross.

After Yeshua saves his Bride on the Day of Trumpets, Satan will be bound, and the ten days of the bowl judgements will devastate the Earth, and then soon afterward the sacrifice will resume, as Ezekiel prophesied, for the duration of Yeshua’s 1000 year demonstration of the total depravity of man.
