Everything about your physical body is dominated by corruption and there's no escaping it. Don't believe it? Can you think of anything righteous, pleasant or honorable that gets expelled from your physical body? I didn't think so. The "LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground," and when Adam sinned, both man and the ground were forever cursed for Man's sake. No one wants to grow old and die, but every day we look in the mirror we realize that corruption is taking its toll. We can eat the right foods, we can go to the gym regularly, we can do whatever our Doctor recommends taking care of ourselves, but nothing is going stop the curse from claiming its final prize. Even though there's no hope of redemption for our terrestrial frame, we have nothing but hope in Christ Jesus for our immortal souls.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Notice that Jesus doesn't say "My cross" because His cross was special, His cross was for every man, our cross is for us. Think about things we know from the Bible, things like "a crown of thorns," what is that a picture of? That's a picture of sin reigning over us and when Christ died on the cross, He killed His enemies. Our cross is in our DNA, it’s in our cells which about 100,00 die every second. Our cross is manifested in our physical life, there's something that's part of our bodies that needs to die daily. Ultimately, this thing that needs to be killed and gotten out of the way, will permanently expire in the natural course of things.

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 88:10-11
10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah. 11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?

In Christ Jesus every saint has a guarantee of an eternal victory and what can be more joyous than that? Unfortunately, those who remain under the curse of Adam have no ability to escape their own cursed DNA. Victory will not come from science or its future plans to upgrade mans DNA, victory over the curse can only be obtained from God and by His dying for us. Since this is the case, should we not all the more praise Him for that victory?

Here .... Question I sometimes get from people is: So, if they've not heard about Jesus they're going to Hell?

Paul(?) writes that "The Just shall live by faith"

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

“For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh” (II Corinthians 4:7-11).

Yes, even people who have not heard the gospel go to hell. Only in man's finite reasoning is it suggested that if every heathen heard the gospel they would naturally accept it and go to heaven, but the Bible teaches the opposite, remember God knows what is in the heart of man, better than man himself.

How many of the people who ask you that question have heard the gospel, and yet won't believe it and will go to hell? I think that by them asking that question they are merely trying to justify their own disobedience and willful rejection of God.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

They use it as a ‘gotcha’ question. Like, did Jesus have to go to all the planets to save those there? My answer is: Nope, they listened. Earth was the only planet that didn’t listen to God hence needing the Logos to assume human form to save us from not listening and obeying God.

Yeah, they give me their list of how they’re Christian and I give my list countering what they say. When they say Jesus I counter with what they believe about Jesus. They wipe their feet and depart (which is in their theology to do).

SOOOO,you're saying there are other populated planets.......where created beings (humanoids?) don't need a Massiah because they have faith in GOD the Father

If that is YOUR belief........please don't call yourself a Christian......call yourself NUTS!

If that's not what you believe & I've misunderstood your comment, I apologize.

That was my first reaction as well, but then I thought perhaps SkyDancer's answer to the question

" did Jesus have to go to all the planets to save those there?

was just Skydancer's way of messing with the minds of Mormons who do believe that there are people on other planets. At least I hope and pray that SkyDancer's answer is just a joke.

Thus far there is no evidence that there are any other planets occupied by intelligent life. Until there is, there is no theological conundrum to propose. For all the wishful thinking, every indication to this point is that we’re alone in the cosmos and therefore (gasp!) special.

For anyone who thinks there might be some validity to what SkyDancer said, read Romans 8:22

" For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."

The whole creation is not limited to Earth. It's the entire universe! So, once Adam sinned the entire universe was corrupted! BUT, Earth is the only world that is populated!

Reading comprehension is a must. I wasn't saying that >I< believed in other populated planets, I said: People would come up to me and >they're< saying so my rejoinder to their question would be - no, since those other human types (types added this time) listened to God and Earth did not so God had come down to save.

So no, that is not MY belief - and I also never said I was a Christian in my post, did I?

If you'd taken the time to see my profile page you you'd notice I'm a Messianic Jew.

Therefor I don't call myself NUTS as you imply.

Thanks for playing and have a NICE day.

Well logically speaking you'd think that there would be possibly other life out in the untold billions of galaxies; wouldn't it be a bit conceited to think that we are the only ones? Just a point of something to discuss. There's no proof either way we're the only planet with human life.

As for aliens visiting that I do not believe unless there's a different physics that something can move faster than the speed of light to make intergalactic travel possible since just our small Milky Way galaxy is 30,000 light years to the center.

Again, this is just an opinion and not a statement of belief which has to be stated before some people who've a hard time at reading comprehension jump to wrong conclusions.

PS: You don’t call someone NUTS and then do a “whoops I apologize” at the end of your comment if you feel you’re incorrect.

" Reading comprehension is a must."

Well, Reading comprehension is dependent on a writer`s ability to write coherently.

(coherently=ADVERB: with reference to an argument, theory, or policy) in a logical and consistent way:

"you argue your point coherently"

I also never said I was a Christian in my post, did I?......you'd notice I'm a Messianic Jew.

Well, in studing Christian history, the Peter, John, Paul etc were ALL Jewish and believed the messiah was present in the person of Jesus......therefore they were considered to be the first Christians. Even if you are offended if I were to call you a Christian, that is what a Messianic Jew has been for two millennia.

Passing the ball back to you, Thanks for playing and have a NICE day.

Giving the benefit of doubt is not "do a “whoops." I was trying to be kind, given the convoluted wording of your post.

Again, I refer you to the definition of coherently.

coherently=ADVERB: with reference to an argument, theory, or policy) in a logical and consistent way: "you argue your point coherently"

You do not write “NUTS” in all caps and then say you’re trying to be kind.
