So you DON’T have to obey the Catholic church authorities in Rome?
Because it feels like I’m getting VERY conflicting messages here.
On the one hand, I’ve told that I have to obey the church’s teachings for salvation and that I shouldn’t question it because the church Magisterium is the sole authority for interpreting Scripture, and that I’m going to be damned forever if I don’t.
But now I’m told that it’s just fine if you go underground and disobey and dissent if you don’t like what the church Magisterium is teaching.
So what is it then?
