If someone is dead, you tend to focus on the memory items. I still have some of my parents stuff.
But if I discovered they were alive, I’d drop the stuff and run to them.
God is alive.
Jesus is Risen.
God’s Spirit should living in us.
Or don’t we really believe that?
If you’re interested in Christ, then why wouldn’t you be interested in all details surrounding that hour when He gave us His Body and Blood?
