That does come to mind.
Here's another possibility that could be added to that.
The Lord knew she would be there...and the Lord knew there would be a donor lined up, too -- all of that possibly before either of them were even born.
Admittedly, I'm broaching the general idea as a guess. Still, it is written that He is the author, and finisher of our faith.
