♥MAY 14 MORNING
♥The fellowship of His sufferings.
♥It is enough for the disciple that he be as His master, and the servant as his Lord.
♥He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
♥In the world ye shall have tribulation.
♥Because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
♥I looked for some to take pity, but there was none.
♥At my first answer no man stood with Me, but all men forsook Me.
♥The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay His head.
♥Here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
♥Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
♥PHI. 3:10. Matt. 10:25. Isa. 53:3. -John 16:33. ‑John 15:19. Psa. 69:20. ‑II Tim. 4:16. Matt. 8:20. -Heb. 13:14. Heb. 12:1,2
"That he might know Christ (Philippians 3:10)That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings. Faith is called knowledge, Isaiah 53:11."
"Knowing Him here is believing in Him: it is an experimental knowledge of the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, or feeling the transforming efficacy and virtue of them."
"Observe, The apostle was as ambitious of being sanctified as he was of being justified. He was as desirous to know the power of Christ's death and resurrection killing sin in him, and raising him up to newness of life, as he was to receive the benefit of Christ's death and resurrection in his justification."
4. "That he might be conformable unto Him, and this also is meant of his sanctification. We are then made conformable to His death when we die to sin, as Christ died for sin, when we are crucified with Christ, the flesh and affections of it mortified, and the world is crucified to us, and we to the world, by virtue of the cross of Christ. This is our conformity to His death.

God night. May the Lord keep us all.
Good night, NEWwoman God be with you, saint.
Good morning. Though we may try to understand the depths of Christ’s suffering and sacrifice...
Thanks givemwatts!
What a wonderful verse to consider. It is good that I do.
Am I seeking more than eternal life? Am I understanding what the cost of sin was to my Savior? Did my sin leave gaping wounds on my Lord? Is it possible that I could, with my big Brother’s help and the Holy Spirit, reduce sin in my life, or maybe the latter better said, can I desire and labor to put an end to my sinning?
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for imparting Truth to my soul and mind. Help each of us to crucify this flesh that is prone to rebel against You. Give us the desire to follow You always, in every set of circumstances and in every area of our lives.
May Your Word be high and lifted up this day as we gather together to worship You in song, praise and the hearing of Your Word. Be glorified our Father, In Jesus name I pray!
Thanks for today’s Verses.
May you have a Blessed Mothers’ Day!
amen
